Finding and Preserving Your Peace – Monday Oracle 19 January 2026

“You do not have to be productive to be worthy. You do not have to be busy to be valuable.”

Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using the The Witches’ Wisdom Tarot by Phyllis Curott, illustrated by Danielle Barlow, for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 4 OF WATER.

2026 is a profoundly intuitive and creative year, encouraging adaptability and flexibility, and new beginnings that are practical and sustainable.

January brings a sacred pause – a time for deep reflection, rest, healing, planning, and an invitation to commit to doing life differently in the year ahead. It’s also a time for gathering your tools, for taking small consistent actions, and for organising your home and workspace.

🌺Monday Oracle – Let What You Love Flourish

Monday Oracle – 4 of Water

This week’s guiding card is the 4 of Water, and it brings with it a deep sense of stillness, gentleness, and emotional safety. The image of the four whales — one clearly a mother with her calf — speaks to protection, nurturing, and the quiet power of being held within calm waters.

This is not a week for pushing, striving, or forcing outcomes. Instead, the invitation is to find your peace — and then actively protect it.

There is wisdom in retreat this week. Not retreat as avoidance, but retreat as restoration. You may feel called to spend more time alone, or in the company of those who feel safe, familiar, and supportive. Time with loved ones, chosen family, or even simply time with yourself can be profoundly healing right now.

The 4 of Water reminds us that not everything deserves our emotional energy. Many of the things that trouble us sit well beyond our control — global events, other people’s choices, shifting circumstances. This week asks you to practice the art of remaining untroubled by what you cannot change, and instead to anchor yourself in what is within your reach: your inner state, your boundaries, and the rhythms of your daily life.

There is something deeply stabilising about creating small, reliable rituals of calm. A quiet cup of tea, a morning swim, a few minutes of journaling, a gentle walk, lighting a candle at the end of the day. These are not insignificant acts — they are how we teach our nervous system that it is safe to soften.

Like the whales in the card, you are encouraged to move slowly, deliberately, and with trust in the deeper currents beneath the surface. You don’t need to respond to every disturbance. You don’t need to explain your need for rest. You are allowed to step back from the noise of the world and tend to your own emotional waters.

This is a week for choosing peace — and choosing it again and again, even when the world feels uncertain.

🌊  The Peace-Preserving Ritual

Time needed: 2–5 minutes
When: Once a day, ideally at the same time

  1. Sit or stand somewhere quiet.
Place one hand on your chest and one on your belly.

  2. Take three slow breaths, imagining yourself floating safely in calm, deep water. Nothing to do. Nothing to fix.

  3. Say (out loud or silently):
“I choose peace. I release what is not mine to carry.”

  4. Before you move on with your day, ask yourself one gentle question:
“What would help me stay untroubled today?”

Let the answer be simple — rest, silence, saying no, stepping back, or doing less.

That’s it. No tools, no prep, no performance. Just a moment of choosing yourself.

🌟 Top Tip of the Week:

Create one daily “peace anchor.”
Choose a simple, repeatable ritual that signals safety and calm to your body — the same chair, the same music, the same time of day. Let this become a non-negotiable moment where you check back in with yourself.

🌿Update from the Treehouse

Being back at work this week has felt quietly moving in ways I didn’t quite expect. What I’ve loved most is watching people I’ve worked with for years — sometimes even decades — blossoming into more confident, wise, and capable versions of themselves. Over these past few weeks, I’ve witnessed so much growth in our community, alongside a real collective shift toward slowing down, becoming more aligned, and consciously creating lives that feel more satisfying and sustainable in 2026 and beyond.

And the return to creativity — to fundamental gifts, long-held desires, and soulful self-expression — has honestly made me a little emotional. There’s something deeply affirming about seeing people remember who they are beneath the noise and pressure of the world.

Each session has reminded me how much I love being of service, and how important it is — for all of us — to stay slow, mindful, and anchored in self-care and core values, even as the world feels unsettled and chaotic. It’s guidance I’m taking to heart myself.

As I work with others and sit with my own plans, something feels very clear: the time is now. If we don’t take care of ourselves, if we don’t slow down and truly be with the people, places, and experiences that make up our lives — when will we? There is no do-over. Life is precious, and hustle culture has taken so much from us. That’s why my word for the year is Health — the health of my body, my relationships, my business, my writing, and my inner world.

One of the tools supporting me right now is the 1+0 Card Spread. I love how it gently shows both the level of support available for our hopes and dreams and the tangible, practical steps that make those dreams feel doable rather than overwhelming. I shared this spread in my 2026 Energies Webinar, which you’ll find inside my free Foundation Planner Skills course, if you’d like to explore it too.

I’ve also had a few red days this week. For those newer here, I use a simple traffic-light system to check in with my energy:

  • Green days are for momentum and focus

  • Amber days ask for care and pacing

  • Red days are for rest, gentleness, and doing the bare essentials

If today is a red day for you too, please know this: being gentle with yourself is not weakness — it’s wisdom. Pacing yourself on red days is what allows you to move back toward amber or green. Care is not something we earn; it’s something we’re allowed to give ourselves freely.

Wherever you find yourself this week, I hope you can meet yourself with kindness, honour your energy honestly, and remember that slow, steady, loving choices really do add up.

With love from the Treehouse,

Nicole 🙏🏻💖😊
