Taking Care Of Yourself First- Monday Oracle 1 November 2021

If you want to have enough to give to others, you will need to take care of yourself first.

A tree that refuses water and sunlight for itself can’t bear fruit for others.

Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using the Nature’s Whispers Oracle Cards by Angela Hartfield, with artwork by Josephine Wall, for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 21 – FRESH APPROACH. We’re reminded this week that it’s important to look after ourselves; body, mind and spirit.

FRESH APPROACH asks you to spend a little time reconnecting to yourself, and asking yourself if you are okay.

What is it that you need right now?

Emotional support? A hug? A rest? A home-cooked meal? Some down-time? Some fun?

Do you need to stretch, or to move your body? Are you eating well? Getting enough sleep?

Are you finding time for yourself and your own interests?

This week, be brave, and put yourself and your needs at the front of the queue. You can’t give from an empty cup.

Look at how you can make small changes that will be sustainable and that can give you a better quality of life.

My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:

Stop for a moment. Put your hands over your heart, close your eyes and take three centering breaths. Then ask yourself What do I most need right now? Trust that your own wisdom will flow forth and help you to get clear about your next step.

Stuck with creating a satisfying life for yourself or understanding your best direction forward? Maybe you need a session with me to bring some extra clarity and direction. Details here

So, here we are. November 1. For me and my team it’s launch week.

We’ll be sharing special product offers with our Inner Circle later today. And later this week we’ll be going live with this year’s Planner and some other lovely goodies that we’re really proud to have created for you. (For a sneaky preview check out the picture below.)

Gee, I am so relieved to finally be at this point. It took so much energy to get here. At times I wasn’t even sure if we would!

There are still a few last-minute kinks to iron out. But that always happens. We’ve already encountered a mountain of them on the way to this point in time, and I’m much better at rolling with it now, rather than freaking out at the first little hiccup. There’s tech. There’s COVID-induced shipping delays. So many unexpected challenges. But all of them are on their way to being overcome, and the end is in sight.

My packing room is all set up, and it’s the most organised I’ve ever been (So satisfying for my Virgo brain!). Soon I’ll be wrapping things and writing cards, and adding treats and shipping things out. I just love this time of year when I get to play Magical Elf.

Here on the Sunshine Coast we’ve had a wild week of storms and crazy winds. I’m hoping for a few fine days this week so I can finally get my washing done. And, of course, I’ll be finding a little time every day for writing because November is NaNoWriMo time.

Happy November, everyone. It’s going to be great!

Love, Planners and other fab surprises, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. To me this card says that everything is possible. I have everything within me. A fresh approach in how I feel about myself, seeing things from a different perspective.
And my new affirmation (which I got from Deepak Chopra in his latest meditation experience): “I deserve a life without limitations”.
