2023 is a year for change, creating solid foundations, and for spiritual journeying. It’s a year for personal growth, and for clarifying who you are, what you want, and why you are here.
November is a month for sacred journeying – for living with mindfulness and stepping more into your personal power. It’s a time for bringing good medicine into your life – the things that nourish, support and heal you. The things that help you grow into a better version of yourself.
52. STRADDLING WORLDS – WANDER BETWEEN REALMS
What does it mean to straddle worlds?
This week it means having a foot in the past and one in the future. You are reminded that now is a potent time for change and reinvention. Even as you have one foot in the past – and the life you have lived and the person you have been up until now – part of you is stretching forward, filled with hope and longing to become… new.
Your life is the canvas, and you are the artist. What will you paint?
Life is a long game for most of us, if indeed we are afforded the privilege to be able to become older. As we age we learn, grow and change. We evolve, either by design or by the twists and turns of time. Who we were at six years of age will be different to who we are at sixteen or sixty.
So, who do you want to become? What are the ideas in your head and the dreams in your heart?
It’s never too late to change. Perhaps you need a small tweak to an otherwise happy life. Perhaps you need a major overhaul and redesign.
Maybe the path you were following is suddenly closed to you. Well then, it’s up to you to adapt and find a new way forward. But that’s what it is to create your life!
No-one else needs to know your plans. No-one else needs to see your dreams and hopes. Protect them, and keep them close to your heart until you are ready to stand with both feet in your new world.
STRADDLING WORLDS reminds you that it is never too late to become someone new. You get to choose. Your life will always be your most important work of art.

My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:
Self-awareness is what is required this week. We need to tune in. We need to listen to our bodies, listen to our hearts, listen to our soul’s own wisdom.
Tune in to how much energy you have. Tune in to what the diet you eat is doing to your body. Tune in to how easily your body can move, can sleep, can do the things you need it to do. Tune in to where your passion lies, and where it does not.
Tune in to your rage, your discontent, your excitement, your pain, your joy, your indifference.
Be open to where that leads you. Don’t judge it. Stay curious. Stay open.
Know that tuning in will lead you back to yourself, no matter how lost you may have become.

Some good news to report – I’m finally getting better. So much of that is thanks to my fantastic doctors, one of whom realised last week that the shock of this recent illness (RSV) on my body had begun to wreak havoc on my thyroid function. Luckily we caught that in time before it became something much more serious. Still, boo to a thyroid that keeps misbehaving. It made me so tired, confused, depressed, cold and miserable. Most of which I incorrectly put down to RSV. So, more meds, more rest and hopefully more improvement for me. I’m trialling a very slow return to work this week. A few hours of being upright each day, and we will see how I go. I still feel less than par, and I get exhausted too easily, but my voice is returning and so is my brain. Hooray for that. And don’t worry – Ben and Simone won’t let me overdo it! They also ignore me when I boldly claim that I am suddenly capable of all the things. Which is annoying, but ultimately in my best interests.
We launched our Christmas packages and goodies for my Inner Circle members last week, and we finally got our Planner and a brand new colouring book (it’s fabulous – mandalas for manifesting, and it comes with a companion online course!) up onto Etsy. Expect that this week we’ll have more new products up in Etsy. I’ll keep you posted on that.

If you buy through Etsy it is me who wraps and packs your order, and I always include a little love letter and a small surprise, because who doesn’t need love and surprises.
