Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using the Queen Of The Sun Oracle by Stacey Demarco, illustrated by Kinga Britschigi, for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 41. REFLECTION (RAINBOW).

This final week of 2024 and the beginnings of 2025 brings a cross over of both years, and both months.

2024 is a year for fresh starts, for creativity, healing and social connection. It’s a year for ambitious projects and for getting stuff done. 2025 is a year for pattern breaking, deep healing, mysticism and new directions.

December is a month for dancing with the Universe, for letting your hair down, relaxing, celebrating, connecting, daydreaming about the future, and tuning in to your wise self. A good time to tie up loose ends. Rest and retreat where needed. January is a month for identifying opportunities for healing, for taking time for relationships and social connections, and for planning your hopes, dreams and goals for the year ahead.

41. REFLECTION (RAINBOW)

What a great week for reflecting on the year that was. This week’s energies are all about self-reflection, the wisdom to know ourselves a little better, and recalibration. Learn from the year that was, and know that you can achieve positive results now by making yourself a priority in your life. You’ll find the energies of this week gentle and creative, supporting you to come to a place of kindness, compassion and peace within yourself. Use this week for any form of forgiveness work or emotional healing too. Don’t hang on to heavy emotions. The battles you have fought and the self-awareness you have gained through your insight and reflection have brought you new perspectives and wisdom. Your intuition will be on point, and easy to tune in to. Know that the decisions you make this week will be good ones.

You may find yourself craving emotional luxury and moments of social connection now. What floats your boat might not be what makes someone else happy but that’s okay – you need to honour your own needs and fill your tank with the things that inspire and delight you. This week provides a quiet lull and a chance to regroup and reconnect with friends and loved ones.

Take time for pampering, for scheduling massage, spa days, haircuts and shopping time. Spill that energy out into your home and office too and create an environment that gives you a sense of sanctuary. It’s a great week for journalling and card spreads, for reflection, day-dreaming, vision boards and any kind of life planning.

My Top Tip For The Week Ahead: 

It’s been a bumpy ride this year, and very intense for some of us Rest now. Pamper yourself a little. Dream, plan, have some fun, reconnect with your passions. All of that will help position you for a strong year in 2025.

Here at the Treehouse it has been a quiet week, and I’ll admit that for most of it I have been in bed, trying not to get frustrated at feeling unwell and how I am not bouncing back in the way I had hoped.

But that’s life isn’t it?

Don’t get me wrong, I may feel unwell, but my heart is so happy. I have books to read, a fridge full of delicious Christmas treats – the fat black cherries and buttery sweet mangoes are my favourites – I’ve had swims in the pool, listened to wonderful music, watched black cockatoos soar overhead filling the air with their haunting cries, and soaked up all the beauty of the natural world. It’s been good. Very, very good.

My New Year’s Eve will be our usual ritual of a quiet evening of friendship, a yummy dinner, journalling and card pulls, meditation and an early night. And on New Year’s Day? I’ll be cracking open my 2025 Planner for a nice long session or two. Oooh, I can’t wait!!!
