“You have to dream before your dreams can come true.”
~ A. P. J. Abdul Kalam
Hello, Lovelies!
This Quarter I am using the Sacred Power Reading Cards by Anna Stark, illustrated by Louis Dyer, for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is RETREAT
2025 is a year for pattern breaking, deep healing, mysticism and new directions.
May is a month for connecting to your dreams, for doing what you love, for renewal of the physical (hello health and wellbeing!) and for inspired action.
RETREAT
This week, the energy of RETREAT wraps around us like a soft blanket, calling us inward.
Not to hide.
Not to give up.
But to remember.
To remember what matters.
To remember what we’re here for.
To remember who we are beneath the noise, the pressure, and the pain.
✨ This is a week to reconnect to your dreams—not through hustle, but through stillness. Through breath. Through silence. Through truth.
You may find that your dream has been dimmed by exhaustion, stress, anxiety, or inner conflict. Maybe it’s been so long since you felt inspired that you’re not even sure what you want anymore. If that’s where you are, dear heart—start there.
💛 Practice radical self-care.
💛 Honour your body’s need for rest.
💛 Let the people who love you know you’re walking through something hard.
Even the smallest acts of gratitude, presence, and appreciation can help you begin the return journey to yourself.
🔥 When we’re in the dark, a dream becomes even more important.
The energy of RETREAT isn’t about quitting—it’s about refocusing. It’s about going within so you can rise stronger, clearer, and more connected.
Because here’s the truth:
Dreams don’t manifest through thought alone.
They require breath, voice, intention, and action.
Thinking is the seed. Acting is the soil, the water, the sun.
This week, we are asked to take even the tiniest step toward what calls us. To whisper yes to the life we long for. To trust that it’s okay if we’re not ready to leap, as long as we don’t stop listening.
🌱 Can’t find your dream right now?
That’s okay too.
Dreams can get buried.
Under burnout.
Under grief.
Under the criticism of others.
Under our own harsh self-talk.
But just because we can’t see the flame doesn’t mean it’s gone out.
✨ It’s still there.
✨ Flickering gently.
✨ Waiting for a moment of stillness, a breeze of hope, a touch of light.
This week, RETREAT helps us clear the debris.
It reminds us that the sacred parts of ourselves—our creativity, our purpose, our passion—are never truly lost. They are waiting. Patiently. Lovingly.
And as we soften, slow down, and tune in, something beautiful happens:
We begin to remember.
We begin to dream again.
And our courage begins to grow.
🕯️ This is your week to come home to yourself.
Rest. Reflect. Reconnect. Reignite.
Your dreams are not behind you.
They’re waiting inside you.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:
This week, don’t push forward. Turn inward.
RETREAT reminds us that sometimes the most powerful progress happens when we pause.
✨ Rest your body.
✨ Nourish your soul.
✨ Let your dreams re-emerge in the quiet.
If you’ve felt lost, disconnected, or unsure—know this:
Your dream is still alive. It’s just resting beneath the surface, waiting for you to slow down enough to hear it again.
This week, retreat into yourself to remember what truly matters.
Your next step will come. For now, just come home.

Here in Australia we have just had our latest Federal election. It made me proud of our democratic process, and relieved to see Australians move away from personality politics and back towards future vision and solid Australian values.
The defining moments for me were when the Leader of the Opposition, Peter Dutton, who led a populist right-wing style campaign, lost not only the election but his seat in Parliament after 20 years of service to our country, gave a speech conceding his defeat, accepting full responsibility for that, and congratulating the Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Ali France, the disabled single mum who won Dutton’s seat. Dutton said he’d called the PM to congratulate him, and told him his mum (the re-elected PM’s mother was a working-class single mum) would have been proud of him. He also called Ali France, and told her that her son Henry (who passed away recently from leukemia) would have been proud of his mum too. Humanity and grace from a man on one of his hardest public days.
When Anthony Albanese gave his victory speech as the newly elected Prime Minister of Australia, standing in front of the Australian, and First Nations and Torres Strait Islanders’ Flags , he also said something that brought me to tears. When he mentioned Peter Dutton, the crowd began to boo and Albanese immediately shut that down, admonishing the crowd and saying, “No. No. What we do in Australia is we treat people with respect.” He then thanked Dutton and wished Dutton and his family all the very best for their future. Albanese’s victory speech was inclusive, respectful, uplifting and uniting, reminding us all of the best that we can be, rather than the worst.
Jim Chalmers, the current and re-elected Australian Treasurer said last night, “When did it become weakness to be kind or generous or inclusive or gracious?”
After all the vitriol, hatred, slandering and aggression that has hallmarked recent international elections and political behaviour, and some of our own election campaigns here at home, it felt so good to watch my nation behave civilly, and with kindness and decency.
That feels healing indeed.
Much love to you, Nicole xx

Given how my being has been for quite a few months, your post today was just the words I needed. Retreat, kindness to self and being able to reconnect to that part of my being that had been taken over by a huge stress. Your words, your love and understanding have given me strength and lots of hope. Blessings to you.
I couldn’t agree more Nicole. Those two men were gracious in defeat and victory. I feel so proud of our country and its people who resoundingly spoke this weekend.
Thank you for the post. It really speaks to me today. It is my daughter’s 16th birthday. I feel to go quietly with all of the good and tough stuff that in equal measures fills my heart right now. 🙏🌸💫
Oh that’s a beautiful energy this week! To me this card speaks of a fresh, peaceful and very promising morning. All ist well!
Nicole I agree, in this crazy world right now, where meanness and selfishness seems to be the fashion, this democratic signal from downunder ist much needed.
Hope you are feeling okay😘
I liked this post and want to thank you for it
