Your Path Ahead – Monday Oracle 14 July 2025

“In all affairs it’s a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted.”
― Bertrand Russell

Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using the The Rooted Woman Oracle by Sharon Blackie, illustrated by Hannah Willow, for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to guide us for the week ahead is MOUNTAIN – Vision and Inspiration.

2025 is a year for pattern breaking, deep healing, mysticism and new directions.

July energies are all about healing yourself; body, mind and spirit. It’s time to make yourself  a priority, and to attend to whatever is needed for your healing journey. July is also a month of heightened energetic sensitivity and intuition.

🏔️ Monday Morning Musings: Mountain – Vision & Inspiration

Theme: Perspective, Clarity & the Path Ahead

This week’s energy comes with a breath of fresh air.
Our guiding card is Mountain – Vision & Inspiration, and its message is clear:

You’re not stuck—you’re climbing.
And the view is about to change.

If you’ve been feeling weighed down, lost in the fog, or unsure how to move forward—this week offers a shift in perspective. One that allows you to rise above the daily struggle and glimpse the bigger picture of your journey.

🌀 From Struggle to Strategy

When you’re caught in the middle of a problem, everything feels urgent and overwhelming. But when you rise – even a little –you begin to see:

  • What’s worth your energy, and what’s not

  • What’s really blocking you, and what’s simply fear

  • How far you’ve already come

This week, clarity returns.
Puzzle pieces begin to click into place.
That decision you couldn’t make before?
✨ The missing information might arrive.
✨ The fog might lift.
✨ The Universe may hand you a compass.

Trust that clarity can come this week, whether you need to sort out your life, find direction, or connect into inspiration for a current or new creative project.

🔭 The Power of Perspective

Perspective is a kind of magic.

It doesn’t erase the challenge—but it gives you the wisdom to meet it with strength and strategy instead of burnout or despair.

You are not failing.
You are not lost.
You are gaining altitude.

This week, make time to step back.
Create space to look at your life from a higher place.
Journaling, meditation, or a simple walk in nature can all help you shift your view.

🛤️ Practical Suggestions for the Week Ahead

Especially for those doing it tough right now, here are a few gentle ways to work with this energy:

  1. Zoom out.
Write your biggest worry at the top of a page. Then ask yourself:

“How will this matter in 6 months or 2 years?”
“What might I not be seeing yet?”

  2. Ask for insight.
Pull a card. Ask your guides. Ask your own heart.
Then listen for the answer – not just with your ears, but with your intuition.

  3. Create a healing map.
If you’re on a healing journey (emotionally, physically, or spiritually), try journaling:

    “What do I need next?”
You might be surprised by how clearly the path begins to reveal itself.

  4. Reach out.
Talk to someone you trust. Sometimes another person’s perspective is the mountain we can’t climb alone.

🌄 The View From Here

This is a week of hope, momentum, and possibility.

Not because everything is fixed—but because you’re finally able to see that healing, progress, and peace are possible.

The path is unfolding beneath your feet.
You don’t need to rush. Just keep climbing.
And take a moment to breathe in the view. You’ve earned it.

🌟 Top Tip for the Week Ahead – MOUNTAIN

Theme: Clarity Through Perspective

If you’re feeling overwhelmed this week, don’t push harder—pull back.

✨ Step away from the problem.
✨ Breathe.
✨ Zoom out.

Ask yourself:

What would this look like if I were already on the other side of it?

Clarity often arrives when we stop trying to wrestle with the issue and start observing it with love and distance.

Here at the Treehouse we’re getting ready to jet off interstate to Adelaide to see family and friends, and to visit a Museum. I just started a two week mostly drug-free window, so I’m optimistic that I’ll feel up to the adventure, even if I do have to pace myself, and get extra quiet time in so that I can last the distance. Anyway, it’s my kind of a relaxing break: loved ones, good snacks, a few tasty shared meals, some interesting new experiences. And, of course, time to write, and time to rest.

Ben and I are going to be checking out the last days of the Galloway Viking Hoard exhibition in Adelaide. The Galloway Hoard was discovered by metal detectorist Derek McLennan at Balmaghie, Kirkcudbrightshire, in 2014. Deposited around AD 900, it is both Scotland’s earliest Viking-age hoard and the richest ever found in Britain and Ireland. It consists of over 100 items, including silver ingots, arm-rings, gold objects, brooches, glass objects, and beads. A unique rock crystal vessel with gold fittings was also discovered, along with textiles and braided silk. How exciting! I’m looking forward to looking back on this period of time, and on part of my Ancestral Heritage.

Rufie Dog will be well taken care of while we’re gone, and gets to stay home where everything is familiar. It will be his first time to be without us or his big brother, and I’m hoping our lovely house sitter will help him feel relaxed and happy about the whole experience.

I’m thinking of you all, on your own healing journeys, and I do hope you get to take a little time to nourish your soul this week, with the kinds of things that hold meaning or wonder for you. All my love, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. Thank you so much for your words. I really needed to read/hear them! I hope you feel much better soon! Enjoy the trip! Xxx

  2. Getting similar messages from guides and cards so will be an interesting week. Have fun and jealous of your visit to the hoard. I love stuff like that. Maybe one day I will see it too.
