“And so taking the long way home through the market I slow my pace down. It doesn’t come naturally. My legs are programmed to trot briskly and my arms to pump up and down like pistons, but I force myself to stroll past the stalls and pavement cafes. To enjoy just being somewhere, rather than rushing from somewhere, to somewhere. Inhaling deep lungfuls of air, instead of my usual shallow breaths. I take a moment to just stop and look around me. And smile to myself.
For the first time in a long time, I can, quite literally, smell the coffee.”
~ Alexandra Potter

There has been so much going on this year – energetically, emotionally and astrologically.

This weekend, proceeding the New Moon, is the perfect opportunity to find a little quiet time for yourself.

Time for rest and healing.

Time for integration of the shift that has happened in your life.

Time for creating peace and stillness, so that ideas and inspiration can find you.

Time for reconnection to what matters.

Time for soul work.

Sometimes the best way to move forward is to stop first.

Can you gift yourself some quiet time this weekend?

Who knows what magic might come from this.

Thinking of you, and sending so much love as I too have a restful weekend,

Nicole xoxo

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. Shane and I did this. A weekend of reconnection. Happened just by chance. No children at home so went for drive to Warwick. Chased up some parts for the woodheater, it will cool to need it one day, then traipsing through seconhand stores and then a long anticipated visit to Glengallen homestead. Just the two of us…. .just perfect. The pages are turning for our next stage 😊

  2. I’m one of those people that needs a LOT of quiet time. So I get up at 4:30 in the morning so no one is around. I get to watch the sunrise. Last night I had a little trouble sleeping. Odd dreams and I got up and looked out. I saw a group of stars. I’m quite visually impaired so for me to see stars is a big deal. I stared for as long as I could see them. I painted fencing and pulled weeds. It was so meditative and I had forgotten how much I missed doing those things. Thanks for explaining why it’s all necessary. Hope you are continuing to feel stronger each day.
