“One is not loved accidentally; one’s own power to love produces love – just as being interested makes one interesting. People are concerned with the question of whether they are attractive while they forget that the essence of attractiveness is their own capacity to love. To love a person productively implies to care and to feel responsible for his life, not only for his physical existence but for the growth and development of all his human powers. To love productively is incompatible with being passive, with being an onlooker at the loved person’s life; it implies labor and care and the responsibility for his growth.”
~ Erich Fromm, Man for Himself: An Inquiry into the Psychology of Ethics
I have a retreat starting this Friday. Accelerated Channeling. It’s a retreat I have been preparing for since last year.
So much love and devotion goes into the preparation for each participant, as well as the event in its entirety. I meditate for each participant twice a day, for a month before the event and a month after.
I have had a group of crystals charging on the earth on my farm for months. They have been witness to solar and lunar eclipses and other such astrological events. They have been rained on and bathed in sunlight and moonlight. They are being readied as working tools for my retreat, one for each student, and a couple of extras as gifts.
Today, to finish them off before I place them into their little bags, ready for new owners, I shall take them all for a swim in the ocean. Then they will have energy from earth, water, salt, sky and all of the celestial bodies. As well as the little birds who have danced among them.
I’d show you a picture of them but that would spoil the surprise for my students.
So, here’s a batch I prepared earlier.
I have one more retreat offering this year, in July. And there are just a few spaces left. I’ll tell you all about that tomorrow, but right now I have to take me and some rocks for a beach swim.
Much love,
Nicole xx
You. Are. Awesome. <3
I have never been on a retreat but if I had the time and the money would love to do so
Taking the rocks for a swim sounds wonderful. Thank you for all your love and support xxxx
I would love to take some of your workshops but I live too far away…. I hope this next one is just as amazing as all the previous ones for you as well as the participants.
They look well loved. I am sure the new ones you have prepared will be just as charged and ready to greet their new keepers.
