“We must never stop dreaming. Dreams provide nourishment for the soul, just as a meal does for the body.”
– Paulo Coelho
Hello, Lovelies!
This Quarter I am using the Queen Of The Sun Oracle by Stacey Demarco, illustrated by Kinga Britschigi, for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 42. RECIPROCITY (Photosynthesis).
2024 is a year for fresh starts, for creativity, healing and social connection. It’s a year for ambitious projects and for getting stuff done.
October is a month for healing in all forms, for learning from the past and letting that help steer you towards your future goals and dreams, and for nurturing your Inner Child with play and self-care.
42. RECIPROCITY (Photosynthesis)
This week, open your arms to the gift of life. Embrace the things that can nurture and nourish you. Practice extreme self-care. Put yourself equal with others, or first, rather than always putting the needs of others before yourself. The quality of our inputs will always affect the quality of our outputs.
Look to the things that fill you up and light you up.
Food and nourishing your physical body is well aspected now. This week, tune in and pay attention. Do you need to tweak the foods you eat, and start to make healthier choices? Do you need help with that in the form of a dietician, doctor, natural health practitioner or even a meal delivery service? Do you need to address patterns of emotional eating through some professional counselling?
Feel into your body. Is it moving easily? Is there pain anywhere, or something that needs attending to? Schedule a check-up with your doctor, some bodywork, a trip to the dentist or optometrist. It’s a great week to start bringing in some extra movement. Think about setting up your yoga mat, or finding a great stretching routine online, going for a walk, dancing in the loungeroom for ten minutes, or heading back to the gym. Lifting weights and strength training can be transformative in so many ways.
Nourishment isn’t just about your body being well nourished. You also need to look after your mind, and your spirit. Can you read a book, listen to a podcast, learn something new or do some meditation or relaxation to cut down on your stress? Draw love and light down into your body and your soul. Sit with your crystals. Spend time in nature. Replenish your energy.
Connect to your curiosity or passion, and begin the activities or projects you long to do, but have procrastinated on (for whatever reason). Not for fame or glory, but because following your heart enriches your life and gives it shape and meaning. Sing if you love to sing, even if you will never secure a recording deal or become a world-famous musician. Your thing could be baking or sewing or horses or writing or building things or growing roses. It might be collecting rare old books or working on your family tree or saving the wilderness.
Following your passions helps you to come alive. It might not be your current career – it might be your hobby. And that’s okay. What matters most is that you make room for these passions and spend time on them. Passions sometimes have a way of becoming your path. All you ever need to do is be open, and follow your heart. The rest is truly up to the magical synchronicities and miracles of the Universe.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead
Self care isn’t selfish. Self care is the single most important gift you can give to yourself and the relationships around you. So, do that this week. You’ll be glad you did. Identify the activities that give you PLEASURE and do them. Luxuriate in things that delight your senses. Wear your best perfume, have a long soak in the tub, get a massage, immerse yourself in your craft, have great sex, lie in bed between clean sheets with a wonderful book, a drink and some fine chocolate. Be mindful of your body, and your senses will come alive.

We’ve spent the past week in French Polynesia. It’s a magical place – filled with beautiful scenery, abundant greenery, happy friendly people and all kinds of underwater life. I’ve seen many turtles, stingrays and manta rays, and plenty of fish. I’ve also enjoyed the music and dancing of Tahiti, and the laidback lifestyle.
Today we’re finally on our way to New Zealand, and then home to Australia.
I love vacations, but I am starting to feel that pull to home, to our treehouse and our pupsters, my Inner Circle and Journeymakers, my local writing group, and the view of the old trees from our back deck and our bedroom window.
And gee, I miss good Australian coffee too!
I’m also excited because when I get home it’s time to gift-wrap my new Planners for 2025, and put together all the gifts and goodies I will ship out over the next few months. It’s always my favourite time of year, and I have some lovely surprises in store for all of you who use my Journeymaker’s Planner. I can’t wait to share them with you.
On the Planner front, our 2025 edition of the Journeymaker’s Planner is now available at
Amazon USA and Amazon Australia.
Copies will also be available from me directly when I get home to Australia and am able to ship to you via ETSY and our new online store. I promise to keep you updated on that. I expect to have the Etsy store up and to be shipping Planners and member orders from November 1.
My latest trip highlight? Swimming in crystal clear turquoise waters, surrounded by extinct volcanoes and majestic tropical forests, and sitting on deck, late at night, with a slew of stars above me and a warm salty breeze kissing my skin.
Biggest love, hugs and hula dancing happiness, Nicole ✨💗🐢🦋🌴🐠🍹💗✨
PS – Here’s a little peak at how pretty the 2025 edition is… And inside – lots of fairies!

Thank you for this bloody great post
