A Reminder to Revisit your Guiding Word

Hey, Lovelies.

I work with my Journeymaker’s Planner over the year to help me, learn, grow and evolve.

One of the tools I use is a Guiding Word. (If you use my Planner details about this are on page 49, with room for your notes on page 50.) A guiding word can be an inspiration, attitude, quality, action or even a secret codeword for a project or goal to guide you well over the year ahead.

At the beginning of every Quarter I like to check in with my Planner and review my Guiding Word, my 2023 Project, my habit and the cards I pulled at the beginning of the year to guide me.

My Guiding Word has particular pull for me right now.

That word is SPACE.

Here’s a little of what I wrote about this word late in 2022.

I was a little unsure of my word at the beginning of the year, but as the months have rolled on I have seen the wisdom of this word and begun to experience the magic of space and what that might manifest for me – not just now but in the coming year as well.

Tools are only useful when you USE them. So I’ll be spending time in reflection this weekend, thinking about how I can create meaningful space in this last quarter of 2023, and then in 2024.

Space is a word that has set up a beautiful hum within me – and the vibration of space and what that has already created and can continue to create for me is truly exciting. I’ll journal this word, pull some cards for it, and let space guide me forward for the rest of the year.
