“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost.”
― Martha Graham
Hello, Lovelies!
This Quarter I am using the Queen Of The Sun Oracle by Stacey Demarco, illustrated by Kinga Britschigi, for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 26. INSIGHT (APOLLO).
2024 is a year for fresh starts, for creativity, healing and social connection. It’s a year for ambitious projects and for getting stuff done.
November is a month for creating the future, for taking risks and creating change – but always with your wellbeing and life-balance in mind. Stop putting your dreams on hold. Let your heart guide you forward.
26. INSIGHT (APOLLO)
This is a week for life-changing personal realisations, for decisions, and for moving from fear to flow. At the core of your being, your wise self resides, and your wise self knows what you want, and what’s good for you. No matter what other people tell you, no matter what the experts, the influencers, the coaches and the gurus say, the person to listen to this week is yourself.
It’s a week for truths – the small ones that help you get clear and make better, more aligned decisions. The big truths that may push you into uncomfortable but necessary change.
This week 26. INSIGHT (APOLLO) informs you that insight and perception will be strong now. If something isn’t working for you, or if you’ve been ignoring a project or a calling, no matter how much you’ve told yourself it’s okay, your wise self will bring the truth to sit right in front of you, in a way you can’t ignore. You can’t keep secrets from yourself forever.
Listen to your wise self. It’s the voice of your soul, doing its best to steer you forward onto a path better suited to expressing your gifts, living your purpose and having your best shot at satisfaction, healing, contentment or whatever else is most needed in your life.
Your intuition is on overdrive this week, so spiritual work, insights and creative flow will come easily to you. Signs and messages are everywhere. Pay attention, and use some of this insight to make change.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:
Spend some time with yourself this week, where you nurture yourself, relax, or do something creative. As you use these techniques to unwind some of the tension in your life, you make room for the answers already within you to rise to the surface of your mind. Then? Grasp one of those answers and pull it into your heart, keep it safe, and help it grow from thought into reality.
Crystals to support you this week – Carnelian, Kambaba Jasper, Amethyst, Citrine, Hematite, Bronzite
Here at the Treehouse I’ve been having a quiet few days after my release from hospital.
I’m quite circumspect about what happened (massive adverse drug reaction) and the fallout from that. It’s life, and you have to roll with it the best you can.
In the middle of my craptastic week, someone reached out to me to remind me that cures are possible and that all I need to do is manage my mindset better. That, in fact, if I was any decent kind of metaphysician I would be well, cured of any and all illnesses, impervious to disease, and have manifested far greater abundance than I currently enjoy.
I have ignored them for now, until I find enough calm and patience to be able to respond in a loving and wise way. I am running on minimal sleep and maximum physical discomfort right now, so it’s a good thing this viewpoint was not made in person…
But really, are we still doing this? Are we still shaming and guilting people for their illnesses and accidents? Are we still parroting Louise Hay’s harmful Magical Unicorn rhetoric that our thoughts manifest our reality and that we are 100% responsible for whatever happens to us, illnesses included?
I’m all for personal responsibility. Yes, what we do, what we eat, how we move, the choices we make and the company we keep can all affect our life and health outcomes. But not completely.
And it’s so ableist to infer that if someone has a physical or mental health issue that they are somehow less worthy that anyone else, and just need to sort out their bad thinking.
If you have issues with your physical or mental health I want you to know that my blog, my community and my home are safe spaces for you. I understand. I live with diminishment and dysfunction that has stubbornly refused to be cured. I made peace with that a long time ago. In fact, I think that living with the kind of incapacities and hardships that chronic or life-limiting illnesses can bring actually helps us to see the world differently, and to find beauty and value and enlightenment BECAUSE of the crap hand life may have dealt us.
Okay, I’ll get off my soapbox now.
Let’s talk about something happy. 😊💖
Happy #1
I’m over on a new social media platform called Bluesky if you want to connect there. It’s what Twitter used to be, before Twitter devolved into the miserable mess that X is now. Here’s my handle: @nicolecody.bsky.social
I’m looking forward to hanging out and talking about all the things that make me me – like books and the environment and kindness and curiosity and dogs and cooking and the random stuff that’s in my head.
Happy #2
Have you checked out my Etsy store lately?
I put love and magic into every order – especially at Christmas time. I realised some time ago that for many of my community, my Planner and anything else they bought from me might be the only gift they received. So I make sure that if you buy from me I treat your order as if I was sending it to a dear friend or family member. I gift wrap your purchase, add a note, and a little something extra as a surprise.
Here’s some of my latest feedback, which came via email, and which my wonderful sister (who is also my PA) posted in our work chat channel to brighten my day when I was in hospital.
There are so many lovely and magical things in my store right now – the 2025 Journeymaker’s Planner in print and digital versions, a new digital version of my Mandala Colouring Book, new Malas and bracelets and palmstones. And of course, if you are looking for a special crystal from my collection just drop me a message in Etsy and let me know your budget and I will find a stone for you, and channel its specific meaning and purpose. It’s something I have been doing for my Inner Circle for years, and I’m happy to extend that service to you too.
Here’s my new Lightworker Mala – which is Amethyst, Hematite and Clear Quartz:
And here’s my Blessings Mala – which is Freshwater Pearls, Rudraksha and Clear Quartz:
Our 2025 edition of the Journeymaker’s Planner is now available at
Amazon USA – Hard Copy
Amazon Australia – Hard Copy
Nicole’s Etsy Store – Hard Copy and Digital Copy (printable and editable), plus lots of other goodies.
New content for our free course that supports the Planner will go live on December 1, and we’ll also have a free webinar/ masterclass in January 2025 (yes, it will be recorded if you can’t make it) for those of you who are working with the Planner.
Okay, time for a quick cup of herbal tea for me before I head out to early morning medical appointments. Then I’ll be back home by 9am to start my work day.
Sending much love to you, Nicole xoxo

Ordered your diary yesterday. Went to a funeral of a 27 year old. Hung out with her parents. Ate a piece of cake. Drove through the rain. Considered the potential outcomes for the mental health of our own 29 year old. Cried some more. Made tea. Told the unicorn in my garden. They said it was ok, none off it was anyone’s fault. Straight from the unicorn’s mouth, life is just shit sometimes. So much love to you. Hang in there. Xx
Nice happy things here, and yeah clarity and direction my go together but when stressed in my head they do not.
Last night I made an account with Etsy and ordered my Christmas presents to me, from your store. You inspire your community with love, acceptance, truth and honesty. For everyone who has a new normal in dealing with a chronic illness, I am sure the sentiment is “Thank you.” I am looking forward to my bundle of joy when it arrives in the mail. Thank you Nicole.
Sue, I will be so excited to send it to you! Thank you, and much love xx
