Using this Big Ol’ Moon for Chill Time

“Some people have a seemingly quiet life but they are noisy inside. Some people have a seemingly busy life but they have a quietness within. To lessen the inner noise we can develop self-awareness, introspection, and stillness. We grow in solitude. We need quiet times. They make our life happier and less problematic. They move us closer to glowing health, agelessness, peace, prosperity, clear thinking, inspired ideas, harmonious and interesting relationships, and effective problem solving. They secure our personal and spiritual progress. As we become more conscious through the practice of quiet times, we progressively lose the problems of illness, stress, confusion, and relationship breakdowns. By having quiet times, we start to wake up.”

Lovelies,

we are under the influence of a powerful big moon right now.

It’s a healing moon, this Supermoon, and it will illuminate areas of your life that need change, or where growth is possible. The effects will be felt for days. So, why not use this moon’s energies to help create transformation in your life?

All you need to do is find some quiet time, preferably in the late afternoon, evening or very early morning (just before or after sunrise).

Then, be quiet.

Be mindful of the moon above you (whether you can see it or not!).

Sit or lie in solitude.

Colour in, or paint or craft something. Journal. Or simply rest.

No need for big work. No need for massive self-examination. The answers and revelations will come all by themselves if you can just create room for them to bubble to the surface, or be whispered in your ear.

Other activities that will be helpful this week are long walks in nature, time soaking in the bath, sleep, naps, good hydration, a simple diet, prayer or meditation.

So, get quiet.

Make some room for silence and solitude.

Open yourself to the moon’s energies.

Pull back from the world, and from everything that is noisy, busy or stressful. Even if it’s just for an hour.

Get cosy on your own, and then allow yourself to just BE.

This moon will work a magic on you like nothing else can right now.

Let me know how you go.

Sending all my love your way, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. To the second Caroline who answered me: thank you for your kind words. It was so comforting for me to read them. I was in such an emotional turmoil that morning (as you can see on how many words I wrote wrong), but then I felt I am not alone. It is true – we are all connected. Sending you love wherever you live on this fragile but beautiful planet. I live in Germany by the way, where Corona gradually paralizes all areas of life.

  2. I hope SU MUCH that this full moon will work its magic on me. I´m feeling it so intensly these past days. There is so much live and love lying dormant in me that wants to come out. So much longing. So much searching for answers. So much from the past comes up these last days and it still hurts. I feel an urgent need for change but don´t know how to start. I feel an urgent need do speak to someone openly but there is no one. I feel an urgent desire for connection, for transformation, for resurrection. I feel so much these days. It is like I live in a tower of glass, I can see the world around me and want to participate but I can´t find the way out. Yesterday I wanted to scream because I felt it all so much.
So I will do what you recommend and listen.

Nicole I hope you are feeling better, sending all my love back to you
    Take care of yourself

    1. As I was reading your words I thought, “wow is this person me”? And then I noticed your name and you ARE me! We have the same name, funny coincidence.

It helps to know there are others relentlessly searching, questioning and wondering. I’ve always noticed that after every period of restlessness and turmoil, once I let go and “surrender” to what is, I seem to break through to a new understanding and with that, comes an influx of little wisdoms and “aha moments” that seem to answer the questions I’d been tying my mind in knots over previously.

I hope you find the essence to what you seek.

  3. I have been feeling very tired since two days and was wondering if something was up…. This post explains it I guess…. Thank you😘🙏🏻♥️✨
