“There is a difference between truly listening and waiting for your turn to talk.”
―
Hello, Lovelies!
This Quarter I am using the Sacred Earth Oracle by Toni Carmine Salerno and Leela J. Williams, illustrated by Helena Nelson-Reed, for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is LISTEN.
2025 is a year for pattern breaking, deep healing, mysticism and new directions.
March is a month for aligning to your dreams, a time of opportunity, creativity and possibility. It’s a month that asks for action, commitment and the courage to make yourself, your needs and your projects a priority.
LISTEN
Have you ever had a moment where a quiet thought nudged you in a certain direction? A feeling deep in your gut whispered, Go this way, not that? Or a sign from the universe—a song lyric, a book passage, a repeated number sequence— seemed too perfectly timed to be mere coincidence?
That’s your inner voice speaking.
In the rush of modern life, it’s easy to dismiss these subtle nudges as wishful thinking or random noise. We’re conditioned to prioritise logic, external validation, and the opinions of others over our own deep knowing. But when we tune in, when we truly listen, we find that our inner voice is a wellspring of wisdom, guiding us toward alignment, growth, and purpose.
Your inner voice doesn’t always shout. In fact, it rarely does. It speaks in whispers, gentle urgings, and the undeniable pull of something that feels right—even when you can’t explain why. It’s the flicker of excitement when you consider a new path. It’s the uneasy tension when something isn’t meant for you. It’s the deep sense of peace when you are exactly where you need to be.
The universe speaks in synchronicities, in symbols, in patterns. A phrase overheard in passing, a dream that lingers, a person who unexpectedly enters your life—all of these can be cosmic nudges pointing you toward something important. The question is: Are you paying attention?
How to Tune In to Your Inner Voice
If you feel disconnected from your intuition, don’t worry. Like any skill, listening to your inner wisdom takes practice. Here are some ways to strengthen your connection:
-
Create Stillness – Your inner voice isn’t drowned out by external noise; it’s just harder to hear. Carve out quiet moments—through meditation, deep breathing, or simple solitude—to allow space for intuition to emerge.
-
Journal Your Thoughts – Writing down your feelings, dreams, and ideas helps unearth hidden insights. Try free-writing or asking yourself questions like, What do I need to know right now?
-
Trust the First Feeling – Often, our first instinct is the correct one. Before logic or fear intervenes, notice your initial reaction to a decision. Excitement? Dread? Relief? Your body knows the truth before your mind rationalizes it.
-
Observe Signs and Synchronicities – Keep a record of repeated numbers, symbols, or “coincidences” that catch your attention. The more you acknowledge them, the more they will appear.
-
Act on Small Nudges – Start small. Follow an intuitive hunch about calling a friend, trying a new route, or saying yes to an unexpected opportunity. Trust builds with practice.
-
Let Go of Doubt – Your inner voice is not your fear or self-doubt. It is not the critic in your mind. If the message feels loving, expansive, and deeply true, it’s intuition. If it feels restrictive, fearful, or full of “shoulds,” it’s likely insecurity speaking.
When we start listening—truly listening—to our inner voice and the signs around us, life begins to flow with more ease. We stop forcing things that aren’t meant for us. We stop ignoring the red flags. We step into opportunities meant for us. We live in alignment with our true path.
The universe is always whispering. Your soul is always guiding you. The question is: Are you ready to listen?
What’s your inner voice telling you today?
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:
Slow down! Tune in to your feelings. Pay attention to those stray thoughts that pop up, and those little bursts of emotion. Then, don’t be afraid to act on what you are feeling or being shown. It’s time to change!
Crystals to support you this week – Amethyst, Moonstone, Amazonite, Citrine, Sunstone, Fluorite, Tektite
So, how are you going in these fresh March energies?
Did you feel the pull of that big New Moon in Pisces bringing its healing energies and helping you to focus on relationships?
I know many of you are worried right now, at the state of the world, at global or local politics, for the environment, or the economy, for your wellbeing, or that of a loved one.
It can be overwhelming. But I want you to take heart. Things always fall apart before they can be put back together.
Trust in your own good and loving heart. Trust that there are many people like you in the world who care, who value service and kindness, connection and community.
Do what you can to live your values, to find joy and connection, and to work with spiritual and creative flow. Live your best life, as your best self. Flow love and kindness in all you do. Make your little corner of the world calm, inclusive and open-hearted. It matters. Be the change! Let it start at home and in your heart, with you. Truly, it helps.
Meanwhile, here at the treehouse I am still plugging away with my treatment, with writing and with hanging out online with you all when I can. And for five or ten minutes a day I am letting myself play with story ideas and plotting and planning, just for fun, as part of the #100dayproject. That’s been so good for my soul, and it’s amazing what you can get done in little chunks of time.
Holding you all in my daily prayers and meditations. I’m so grateful to share the journey with you!
All my love, Nicole xx
