Every person needs to take one day away.
A day in which one consciously separates the past from the future. Jobs, family, employers, and friends can exist one day without any one of us, and if our egos permit us to confess, they could exist eternally in our absence. Each person deserves a day away in which no problems are confronted, no solutions searched for. Each of us needs to withdraw from the cares which will not withdraw from us.
It has been a big week, between the gridwork I have done and the passing of my friend, the mountain of work I have completed, and all of the busy things that are part of a full life.
I feel the need to slow down, so I’m taking some time out today. I have one early-morning appointment, and after that I think I might lie on my bed and read a book or nap for a while. I want to be able to turn my brain off, to not have to be responsible for anyone or anything, so that I can relax and just be.
I might take tomorrow off too.
Love, hugs and a great need for some grieving and resting time, Nicole xx
