He had always known that to truly receive, you had to give. Now he understood the equal truth: that to be able to give with a whole heart you had to be prepared to receive in turn.
This Quarter I am using The Light Seer’s Tarot by Chris-Anne for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 6 OF PENTACLES
This week 4 OF WANDS encourages us to be open to giving, but also open to receiving. I know you’re good at the giving part, but the receiving? Not so much! Let this week’s nurturing energies let you flow into abundance with grace and ease.
When we lift each other up, when we help each other, we all rise. That’s the essence of the magic Six of Pentacles brings us. This week’s energies are all about co-operation, collaboration, and helping each other to experience win-win situations. There is so much opportunity around us right now to move out of that space of being stuck in the past or stuck in regret so that we can move forward to new opportunities.
It’s a great week to join a mentoring group or start one, to find a coach or mentor or become one, and to connect into communities, tribes, social groups or any other kind of group that holds your interests and values, and where you can learn, grow and contribute!
Six of Pentacles reminds us that helpful people are all around – but that sometimes we have to ask for help! (This includes charging what you are worth!) Remember, we can call on Angels, Guides, Ancestors and God/Universal Energy to help us in our times of trouble or when we need inspiration and encouragement. We are never alone, and miracles happen every day.
This is also a week for love, romance and deep soul connection. No matter what your situation, do your best to come from love in everything you do this week. Expect magic. Expect blessings. Ask for miracles and be open to receiving them.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:
Lavender and Ylang-Ylang are beautiful oils this week for enhancing communication, deepening trust in relationships and helping you to feel settled and safe.
Apply either or both to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse them. One of my favourite uses is as a centering and inspiring pick-me-up. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma.

Here at the Treehouse this last week I’ve been engaged in plenty of meditation and energy work. I’ve also been finalising my end-of-year offerings, including the 2023 Planner and some other lovely goodies, so stay tuned and I will update you as soon as possible.
We’ve had a week of glorious sunshine, beach walks, pool swims and I have loved that summery feeling of blue skies, salty breezes and jasmine-scented nights. Did I tell you yet how much I love where I live?
It’s also been a social time. Friends for dinner last night, and our first Mojitos of the season, and neighbours for drinks and dinner on Saturday night too. It’s wonderful to be able to sit with friends over good food and a few drinks and share stories and laughs – and for me to finally be well enough to have enough energy to truly enjoy myself. (Let’s put this in context though, so you don’t misinterpret this wildness – two small drinks and I am done, and I have been in bed by 9.30pm each time!)
NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month where we aim to get 50 000 words on the page during November, or whatever our personal goal is) starts tomorrow, and although it is madness, I can feel it calling me. I have a draft manuscript to edit, an ending to craft and a new beginning to write. Want to join me?
I’m going to make time for it each morning, before the day begins. And maybe a little more some nights when my day is ended. That’s how I got most of this book written last year.
So, I’m signed up. A few friends have signed up. We all think ourselves a bit mad. It’s equally thrilling and a bit sick-making. But, I’ve learned over time, many of the best things feel like that.
It doesn’t make logical sense to say yes, but my soul says yes, my heart says yes, and my brain? My brain is just going to have to figure out how to make this work. Because sometimes you need to say yes to the crazy thing. Sustainable Madness is something I know how to do. Dare I say it, I find that it can even be something to look forward to.
It’s nearly NaNoWriMo time.
How about you?
If you join up, (click here to join) let me know. You can add me as a buddy by searching for ncwriter – that’s me, the profile pic of the happy cow!
And of course, your crazy thing may not be NaNoWriMo. It might be Spanish lessons, or horseback riding, or a month of yoga! If you have something else planned for November, let us know if the comments below or over on Facebook.
There is NEVER a right time for so many things. If we waited, it would never get done. So, let’s get a little crazy in November and make stuff happen!
Love, endless words, notepads and coffee cups, Nicole xx
