Guided Meditation for Orienting Body Awareness

Here is the first in a series of seven weekly guided meditations I am recording for you.

We are spiritual beings in physical bodies. This guided meditation will help you to be aware of both your energetic or ‘soul’ nature, and your physical vehicle. It will orient your chakras, and connect you into the earth and wider universe.

You’ll need to set aside about half an hour for this meditation. Sit or lie somewhere quietly, using pillows or blankets if needed to make yourself comfortable. Then simply close your eyes and follow the sound of my voice. It’s fine to let yourself fall asleep during the meditation, or immediately afterwards.

If you’ve never worked with chakras before, don’t worry – it’s very straightforward. I’ve included a picture below

The recording was made at dusk, outside at my farm. I’m sitting under my favourite tree, and you can clearly hear the cicadas, birds, cows and crickets in the background. Let them add their healing energy to this meditation for you too. 🙂

  4. Like the title by the way. I bake for a few people. Friday I will have 3 doz. muffins and 2 loaves of flat bread to deliver and on Sat. 1 doz. cupcakes and 1 oz. of organic mint tea. to deliver. Busy this next couple days getting the stuff baked! 🙂

  5. I like this. You seem to understand VERY well. Am looking forward to the next one. Personally I like the nature sounds to meditate to, but (depending on the person doing it) Guided helps as well, especially when I am having a VERY stressful time of it and can not relax. 🙂 Keep up the great work!

  6. Hi Nicole – thank you and this one sounds great – is there a way I can save the file so I can put it on my IPod for use later tonight when I am not near my computer? I am looking forward to each of the meditations and if I could save them all ….
